Firm celebrates opening its seventh UK office

Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has celebrated the opening of its new Birmingham office with a drinks reception for clients and professional services contacts from across the city and the surrounding Midlands region.

The event, held at the firm’s offices in Louisa Ryland House, saw 140 clients, business contacts and colleagues come together to meet the firm’s corporate, real estate and real estate litigation teams.

Addressing the guests, Birmingham office head Nick Dawson said: ‘You entrust us to act for you, your organisation or your clients on the legal and business matters that often matter the most. That is trust that we recognise, we appreciate, and it is trust that we will never take for granted.’

Hill Dickinson’s chief executive officer, Craig Scott, added: ‘Geographically, the Midlands was an obvious UK location for us to expand into. But, crucially, staying true to our people-led strategy, we would not have opened our newest office in Birmingham at this point had we not found exactly the right three teams of people to lead our expansion in the city, a blend of teams who are clearly so well respected and supported by clients and professionals working within the local business community.’

Fiona Parry, head of the firm’s business services group said: ‘We are delighted to have a local presence in Birmingham for the first time and give our growing client base in the region direct access to legal teams who have an intimate understanding of local drivers and market conditions.’

Hill Dickinson’s Birmingham office is the firm’s seventh UK office, joining offices in Leeds, Liverpool, London City, London St James’s, Manchester and Newcastle.
