Nominations for the Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) 10th annual Pro Bono Awards have been opened. Previously known as the Young Solicitors Group Awards, the awards recognise the work of students, trainees and junior solicitors in providing free legal services to help disadvantaged people. Discretionary cash prizes of up to £1,000 are available to support the pro bono projects of the winners. Go to www.lawsociety. org.uk/juniorlawyers.
