New SRA guidance on ABS authorisation

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is to fast-track low-risk alternative business structure (ABS) applications. It published new guidance this week applying for authorisation. SRA executive director Samantha Barrass said fast-tracking would be dependent on applicants making it clear which of three specific categories their applications falls into and providing supporting evidence of this. 108 ABS have now been authorised.
