CCTV footage of a man faking a fall in a Brighton supermarket in a bid for compensation has been released by Sussex Police. The man said the Asda shop floor was wet, causing his fall, and attempted to claim £11,000 for back and neck pain, headaches and emotional suffering. However, the CCTV footage showed him previously walking over the same area and looking around. He was convicted of fraud at Lewes Crown Court last month and sentenced to nine months in prison.
