Egypt (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2011 (SI 2011/1679)

Places restrictive measures on certain persons, entities and bodies responsible for the misappropriation of Egyptian State funds.

Implements Council Reg 270/2011/EU in relation to the following overseas jurisdictions:
– to the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia,
– the Falkland Islands and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and
– St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.

Prohibits making funds available to the listed people, and requires the seizure of assets of those listed within these overseas territories.
