Vacancies for deputy district judges announced

Some 122 deputy district judge (civil) vacancies are up for grabs, two years after the last opportunity, which attracted 1,500 applications for 193 roles. The judges sit in county courts and district registries of the High Court, and deal with civil and family law cases. Applications must be made to the Judicial Appointments Commission by 3 May 2012 (see http://jac.judicary.gov.uk).
