Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider CIArb has launched its first online course, the Online Introduction to ADR, offering an overview of the various forms of ADR including arbitration, mediation, negotiation, construction adjudication and online dispute resolution. Anthony Abrahams, CIArb director general, says: “The aim is to provide students and those on busy schedules with flexible, convenient and cost-effective education. On successful completion of this course, candidates will be able to understand the background to ADR and describe in outline the processes and procedures available to manage disputes.”
