Carol Storer leaves LAPG

Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG) director Carol Storer, is stepping down in November after a decade at the helm. A well-known and highly respected face in the legal aid world, Storer has championed access to justice in a tough economic climate as well as managing the ever-popular Lalys, the LAPG’s annual awards. In a statement on its website, the LAPG thanked Storer for her ‘skill, energy and dedication’. The organisation’s operations director, Chris Minnoch, will stand in as acting director until a new director can be appointed.
