IBA Practical Guide on Business & Human Rights for Business Lawyers

The International Bar Association (IBA) has voted unanimously to adopt the IBA Practical Guide on Business and Human Rights for Business Lawyers. The guide advises business lawyers on how to practice law with respect for human rights. It is the result of about 18 months of research and consultation by the IBA, and responds to a growing awareness that the management of legal risks means lawyers need to take human rights into account. The guide is available to download free of charge from the IBA website.
