Boardroom concerns

Nine in 10 General Counsel (GC) view managing uncertainty as a key part of their role, a study by Clyde & Co in partnership with Winmark, The Looking Glass 2017, has found. However, 68% of GCs feel they manage uncertainty well, while only 38% of board directors agree. Simon Konsta, senior partner at Clyde & Co, said: ‘This report shows that at every level, the GC role is being reinterpreted and reaffirmed in light of the changing risk and regulatory landscape that businesses face.’
