Tech London Advocates (TLA) and the Law Society have released regulatory guidance on blockchain, smart contracts, cryptoassets and other distributed ledger technology
The technology, which is best known for being behind Bitcoin, could play a key role in the development of LawTech. The report, ‘Blockchain: legal & regulatory guidance’, includes a list of key recommendations on commercial application, data governance, intellectual property, data protection measures and dispute resolution.
