Female voice tops poll

Solicitors’ firms in the UK speak with a female voice—at least as far as their audio branding is concerned, according to research by PH Media Group that found the most popular voice is female, between 30 and 45, clear, warm and intelligent. The reason is that clients find this voice soothing. Dan Lafferty, head of voice and music at PH Media Group, says: “Solicitors will deal with a number of sensitive cases and must provide customers with reassurance they are speaking to someone who understands them. But that doesn’t mean it will necessarily be the best fit across the board.”
