Personal injury claims higher for Davids & Joannes
David and Joanne are the unluckiest names in the UK, as far as personal injury is concerned. They are the most common names of claimants, according to personal injury firm Edwards Hoyle’s case data for the last two years.
Men called James, Stephen, Andrew and Chris, and women called Emma, Clare, Karen and Lisa also featured strongly. 1989 was the unluckiest date of birth, and the most personal injury-prone professions were fishermen, farmers, oil and gas workers, construction workers and lorry drivers.
Edwards Hoyle managing partner, David Edwards says: “We advise them to take extra care when leaving the house in the morning.”
