Assange dismissed

Argument by Assange's counsel was "without merit"

Rose made the unusual request after the majority of the court appeared to decide Assange’s appeal on a ground that Rose said she had not been given a fair opportunity to address. The seven justices ruled last week that Rose’s application was “without merit”. Assange was seeking political asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London as NLJ went to press.
